Providing engaging and educational summer activities.

In a joint effort, The Foundation and MaxAbilities strive to provide additional summer supports for families seeking to provide engaging and educational activities for their children. Each summer we host two events for families that are funded by the Foundation and hosted/staffed by MaxAbilities.

BOTS Sports Camp:

Bounce Out The Stigma is a national sports camp for youth aged 9-18 who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Currently this is the only BOTS camp in SC and we are excited to partner with the Winthrop Athletics Department to put on this special event. In June each year, tuition paid for by the Foundation allows 30 qualifying young people the opportunity to participate in this unique and exciting camp. Spaces fill up quickly.


2025 BOTS Camp is June 16 - 19.

ART Camp:

Typically held in July each year at the York Recreation Complex, our art camp provides a morning of fun and creativity for up to 20 qualifying young people aged 9-18.
